Licensed Plumber


Job description:

  • Complete high-quality plumbing work in a timely manner.
  • Provide customers with excellent customer service.
  • Responsibilities include service calls, job site visits and estimating, project management, ensuring jobs stay on budget, proactive communication with customers and suppliers, ordering parts and returning parts as needed, submitting accurate work orders and paperwork daily.
  • Help to supervise job sites and teach Apprentices.
  • Opportunity to increase responsibilities as individual shows capability, reliability and initiative.
  • A minimum 40 hour week availability Monday through Friday is required.
  • Start time is 7:30 a.m. An average work day goes until 5 p.m., but varies as needed depending on jobs required for customers.
  • Participate in our weekly on-call rotation for emergency calls for which you will be paid overtime for.
  • Must have a well-groomed, professional appearance, clean clothing and steel-toed boots.
  • Must follow all health & safety policies and procedures, smoking policies and other policies outlined by the company. 


Qualifications:

  • Licensed Plumber through the Ontario College of Trades.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, communication and teamwork.
  • Open to ongoing learning and continuous improvement.
  • Reliable, responsible, hard worker.
  • Physically able to do bending, lifting of 50+ pounds and perform job responsibilities outlined above.
  • Valid Ontario drivers license.
  • Enjoys a variety of service calls including but not limited to: water filtration; water softeners; drinking water systems; iron removal; well pumps; well upgrades; backflow prevention; camera inspection; and a variety of installations, service, and repairs for residential, commercial, industrial and agricultural customers.

Plumbing Apprentice


Job description:

  • Complete high-quality plumbing work in a timely manner.
  • Provide customers with excellent customer service and communication.
  • Responsibilities include; assisting Licensed Journeyman as needed with service calls, job site visits, and ensuring jobs stay on budget; following up with customers and suppliers; ordering parts and returning parts as needed; restocking inventory; cleaning and organizing shop; and accurately filling in and handing in work orders and paper work daily. 
  • Assist management and Journeymen as requested through the day. 
  • Opportunity to increase responsibilities as individual shows capability, reliability and initiative.
  • A minimum 40 hour week availability Monday through Friday is required.
  • Start time is 7:30 a.m. An average work day goes until 5 p.m., but varies as needed depending on jobs required for customers.
  • Once experienced enough, participate in our weekly on-call rotation for emergency calls for which you will be paid overtime for.
  • Assist management and Journeyman as requested throughout day.

  • Reliable, responsible, hard worker.
  • Physically able to do bending, lifting of 50+ pounds, and perform job responsibilities outlined above.
  • Valid Ontario driver's license.
  • Lives within the Region of Waterloo, Township of Wellesley, or nearby municipality. 
  • Enjoys a variety of service calls including but not limited to: water filtration; water softeners; drinking water systems; iron removal; well pumps; well upgrades; backflow prevention; camera inspection; and a variety of installations, service, and repairs for residential, commercial, industrial and agricultural customers.
